World AIDS Day
Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt.of Himachal Pradesh has organized District Level AIDS awareness programme at Himachal Institute of Dental Sciences, Paonta Sahib on 5th Dec. 2017 presided over by Dr. Nisar Ahamad, District Health Officer cum District AIDS Programme officer.
During this AIDS awareness programme Rangoli and Speech competition were organized and Dr. Nisar Ahamad awarded the participants.
NGOs namely SHARDHA and CARE society working on AIDS awareness in the area of Sirmaur also participated in the said programme and informed about the steps taken by them to prevent or spread awareness regarding AIDS.
Dr. Rajan Gupta, Principal and Dr. Abhiney Puri, Vice Principal, Himachal Institute of Dental Sciences, Paonta Sahib also appreciate the steps taken by NGO SHARDHA and Care Society and also ensure to conduct such type awareness programme in college campus.
